The Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme is a government grant for EV charge points. The grant is provided by the Office For Low Emission Vehicles and was introduced to encourage the public to transition from cars with traditional combustion engines to ultra-low emission electric cars.
Road Minister, Jessee Norman has announced that £6 million will be spent on the installation of 300 rapid EV chargers and 46 fast EV charge points for ultra-low emission taxis.
