This means that we are able to install commercial EV Chargers under the ‘Workplace Chargepoint Scheme’. What is the workplace charging scheme?
The ‘Workpace Chargepoint Scheme’ is a government grant, for workplace EV Chargers, provided by the Office For Low Emission Vehicles. The aim of the grant is to support businesses who are considering installing EV Chargers, at their workplace, for their employees or customers. The grant allows companies to claim up to £10,000 in support by providing £350 off the combined purchase and installation cost of an EV Charger, up to a maximum of 40 chargers (40 single socket or 20 double socket charge points).
Do I qualify for the workplace charging scheme?
The ‘Workplace Chargepoint Scheme’ is available to any business, charity or public authority. To qualify for the scheme you must have off-street parking. The EV Charger must also be installed by an OLEV approved installer.
How does the workplace charge scheme work?
The workplace charge scheme is a voucher based scheme. To get your voucher you must first fill in the online application form. If your application is successful you will receive a voucher code via email. The voucher is valid for 4 months. When booking your EV Charger installation with us please forward us your voucher code and we will do the rest.
